I am a method Dungeon Master. As reported by Laughing Squid, I recently took the next step in delivering role-playing games to a greater audience: running a live D&D game in downtown San Francisco on Saturday afternoon!

Players were found (some of whom had never played RPGs before), we were out there for close to 5 hours, and the game was a smashing success despite a few incidents. We’ll have more information and videos soon; in the meantime, please enjoy Matt Lopez’s photos, and become a fan of King of RPGs on facebook!

More photos are available on flickr.
EDIT: I was just interviewed on Anime Vice by the awesome Gia and John! Please check it out for much talk about manga and a little talk about roleplaying and, of all things, orcs.

An interview I did back in August just went up on Sequential Tart, the women-friendly comics site. It deals mostly with me and my friends in Couscous Collective, but also with King of RPGs and my other comics. Please check it out!

Late-breaking news — King of RPGs will be at the Alternative Press Expo, the small press convention on October 17-18 in San Francisco, California! Both Victor and I will be at the convention, so please come and meet us!
We’ll be at table 365, which we’re sharing with Shaenon Garrity and Andrew Farago. Stop by to pick up King of RPGs minicomics, our spectacular new color and B&W postcards designed by Jay, and green, red and blue dice necklaces from our friends at Paw and Claw Designs! Furthermore, if you ask nicely, I may let you take a look at the finished pages for King of RPGs volume 1 (or the first 40 pages of King of RPGs volume 2), which, like a catoblepas, normally cause instant death to anyone who meets their gaze!
