Back with New Sketches!

We’re back! The website was dark and cobwebby enough to have a grue lurking in the shadows for awhile… The King of RPGs site was down and buggy for about a week due to domain forwarding/server problems, so we apologize for the inconvenience. In the next few weeks we’ll be uploading sketches from volume 2 and other stuff we have in the works!

In immediate news, I’m going to be in Toronto for the Toronto Comic Arts Festival this weekend. Sadly, Victor will be busy that weekend and can’t attend, but if you’re in Canada or the Eastern Seaboard, come to the Toronto Reference Library on May 8-9 and say hello! It’s not strictly King of RPGs-related, but readers age 18 or older (or those who look 18 and have a fake ID) should check out my panel on manga censorship, “Tentacles, Crosses and Cigarettes” at 3 PM on Saturday. And now back to work on comics!

Toronto Comic Arts Festival, May 9-10

In about 8 hours, I’ll be flying on a plane to Toronto for the Toronto Comic Arts Festival! I always love this awesome convention (and a chance to visit The Beguiling). When not scripting volume 2 on my laptop, I (Jason) will be exhibiting on the floor, selling King of RPGs minis and my assorted fantasy, horror and emo comics.

Please come by and tell me about your role-playing characters! I’ll also be doing two panels on Saturday morning — “The Secret History of Manga” from 10:30 to 11:30 in TD Gallery, and a great group panel, “Manga Around the World” from 11:30 to 12:30 at the same spot, with Bryan Lee O’Malley, Ryan Sands, Becky Cloonan, Antoine Dode, Erik Ko of Udon Entertainment, and Deb Aoki. And quite possibly some other people I missed. Meanwhile, Victor will be in San Francisco drawing awesome things.
