Maids: The RPG
They’ve finally done it, those maniacs. The first translated Japanese tabletop RPG is *not* the long-awaited Tenra Bansho… instead…
And it was translated by one of the main project coordinators was Andy Kitkowski, who taught me everything I know about Japanese tabletop RPGs, back when I was working on “Bastard!!” I highly recommend his JRPG blorum http://www.j-rpg.com/talk/, although technically you’re only supposed to post if you have some working knowledge of Japanese.

Hi!
Thanks for plugging Maid RPG. I’m a huge booster of Maid (I did the interior layout for the book) and I’m happy to see it get some good press. Ryo Kamiya (the game designer) is one of the most talented RPG designers in the world, and it’s great to see his work exposed to a larger audience.
I have an important correction, though: The translation work for the book was done by Ewen Cluney, a talented video-game translator and RPG player. Andy did the production, publishing, and licensing work.

Actually I translated it (note the name on the cover, which was Andy’s idea), though Andy was instrumental in making it happen, and he did or arranged pretty much everything else besides the translation.
Sorry for the mistake in the initial post, Ben and Ewan. (Yes, your name is on the cover, isn’t it…? -_- ) I’m looking forward to checking it out!
